Carpooling, public transit, and parking reservations are essential to reducing congestion in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Paid parking will be in effect daily from 12:01 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the winter season. From December 21, 2024, through March 30, 2025, reservations will be required on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and two holiday Mondays until 11:00 a.m. Solitude and Ikon Pass holders can ride the UTA Ski Bus for free.

Reserve 'N Ski parking details:

• Parking lots open at 7:00 a.m. 

• Reservations at Solitude are required for arrivals before 11:00 a.m.

• From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., you may park at the daily rate, without a reservation, as space becomes available.

• After 1:00 p.m., parking is free, no reservation required.

• ​Some parking inventory for all dates will be released near the start of the season.

• Additional parking inventory will become available at 6:00 p.m. MST each Sunday for the following weekend.

• A small number of spaces will become available on the day of at 6:00 a.m. MST based on cancelations and snow removal.
